We need your help with a special project! Udemy is holding its first-ever instructor conference in late June and we’re putting together a video montage of student stories to share with the instructors who attend. Tell your story at this inaugural Udemy event and inspire our instructors by the impact they’re making on the lives of students like you!

Will you help us? Keep reading for instructions!

When is this project due?

Please upload your video to the Dropbox folder by June 6.

What should I include in my video?

Videos should be no more than 2 minutes in length. Please respond to the following questions in your video:

In English as well as your native language (if not English):

  • What’s your name?
  • Where are you located?
  • What are you studying on Udemy?

In English only:

  • What’s your favorite thing about taking courses on Udemy?
  • What do you love about your instructors on Udemy?
  • How has Udemy impacted your life?
  • What would you tell a friend about Udemy?

You can prepare as little or as much as you’d like before recording. Up to you!

How should I create the video?

We know you may not have previous experience shooting video, but don’t worry – If you don’t own a video camera, you can still shoot great video with a smartphone. Here are some tips for capturing video on your phone.

And please don’t worry about editing your video, our pros will take care of it!

How do I submit the video to you?

Once you have your raw video file, just upload it via Dropbox here (you do not need a Dropbox account).

Be sure to label your video with your Udemy student name and email address following this format: UdemyName_Email_Location (Example: LindseyBonner_lindsey@udemy.com_US).

We will send you a waiver to your email that allows us to use your video at the event.

Who can I contact with questions?

If you have any questions, please reach out to carla@udemy.com.
