Introducing: New Question & Answer Dashboard

At Udemy, we’re always striving to create a rewarding, relevant, and accessible experience for students and instructors.  We recently released a new student course taking experience rebuilt with a learning-first approach, which helps students better immerse themselves in and engage with the content. Now, students can more easily save important information to review later (Bookmarks) or search for answers to questions similar to their own (Q&A).  

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce a new Questions & Answers dashboard designed to help instructors monitor and respond to student questions with ease and efficiency.

Q&A dashboard

Instructors can now:

  • View and respond to questions across  courses in one dashboard and filter for unanswered or unread questions. This allows instructors to get back to students faster, keeping students more engaged in the course.
  • Mark a response as the “Answer”, to indicate the correct response to other students, or “Helpful”, to signal a student question from which other students might benefit.
  • Access the lecture where the student asked the question and view timestamps of when a question was asked and responded to.  All of this  provides additional context to students’ questions to help instructors respond efficiently .
