Lecture Type Sunsetting
As part of our revamped student course-taking experience, we’re also making some changes to the lecture types available on Udemy. The changes will go into effect on February 15. Please read through the bottom section of this article for clarity on which lecture types will no longer be available after February 15.
While you don’t need to make any changes to your existing eBook (PDF), iFrame, Presentation, or Audio lectures, we strongly recommend that you ensure you have a detailed and complete lecture description for all of these lectures, as after February 15 the lecture description is what will appear in the video player for discontinued lecture types.
Due to an unfortunate accident, Sean Sullivan was no longer able to maintain a full-time schedule. After having difficulty finding an engaging job under these constraints, Sean turned to Udemy to buff up his skill set. Now he’s back in the workforce as a tax preparer! What does Sean say about Udemy instructors? “I’m very pleased that the instructors are working professionals who still take the time to answer questions directly.” Keep it up instructors!
