Linking to Lectures in Discussions

We’ve adjusted our link filter so that you can now link to specific course lectures in a discussion board post within that same course. We’re also working on a larger project related to the link filters with the aim of providing an all around smoother experience for instructors.

Instructor Spotlights

This week we’d like to spotlight an instructor with an amazing story: Teresa Greenway. Although you may have seen her sourdough baking courses in the marketplace, you may not know that she had to overcome incredible odds before becoming a successful Udemy instructor. Please take a moment to read Teresa’s incredible story here. We’re amazed by Teresa’s strength and perseverance, we’re honored to offer her courses on our platform, and we’re grateful for her supportive presence in the instructor community.

Our Trust & Safety program launched a few months ago now, and we’d like to check in with you. Do you feel clear and confident on Udemy’s policies? Our Trust & Safety team will host another “Ask Me Anything”, this time in the Faculty Lounge, at 10:00am PST next Tuesday, October 20. This is a great chance to ask questions and get clarity on any points you’re still unsure about. You can submit your questions beforehand using this form, as well as sign up for a reminder email shortly before the event begins. See you there!
