Udemy Expands Personal Plan Library

At Udemy, we are dedicated to helping our valued instructors reach more learners and create greater impact with your exceptional courses. Our learners are telling us that they value Personal Plan, but they would like more content available in it to provide more value. That’s why over the last few months we’ve significantly expanded the Personal Plan (PP) library, doubling its size to now feature 26,000–31,000 courses across all regions where Personal Plan is available.

We believe this expanded catalog will be a valuable enhancement to instructor opportunities, enabling you to reach new audiences and benefit from increased course discoverability across our global platform.

This expansion will empower you to:

• Reach a broader global audience with your courses now accessible across all 229 geographies where Personal Plan has launched, including enhanced language support for non-English markets.
• Leverage quality recognition as newly added courses meet our elevated standards of 4.0+ average rating with at least 10 ratings, highlighting the value of your high-quality content.
• Access new learning pathways as learners can discover and engage with more of your content through curated collections that encourage deeper platform exploration.

We are excited to introduce these enhancements as part of our broader strategy to grow learner engagement across the platform. We believe that by expanding access to quality content through the Personal Plan  we can attract more learners to consume diverse educational content, ultimately creating more opportunities for instructors like you. We also have new monetization paths that we are working on bringing to you, starting with Role Play and In-course labs.

To address this, in the coming weeks we are launching our H2 Kick Off campaign geared and providing clarity, transparency, and detail to the investments being made in instructors at Udemy. We don’t want to spoil anything, but a lot more to come…SOON.
